The comprehensive assessment of the retina

The iCare MAIA microperimeter uses a 25 Hz active retinal tracker to ensure precise test results even if patients have poor fixation. Specific retinal lesions can be tested with custom grids created with the onboard grid editor. The 60° TrueColor Confocal image provides a view of the retinal condition and helps in the assessment of the correlation between the anatomical structures and their visual function.

Enhanced user experience

The learning curve for using iCare MAIA is short, thanks to its intuitive user interface and automated operations, including auto-alignment and auto-focus. These features reduce dependency on the operator’s skills. Custom grids can be created using the onboard grid editor via the wide touch-screen monitor, making data export easy and efficient.

Continuity of data

The full data compatibility with the previous model ensures a seamless transition and continuity of historical data. The grids and mesopic test strategies of the new iCare MAIA microperimeter are the same as in the previous generation device.
