It offers widefield imaging of Fundus Fluorescein Angiography while preserving the image quality, sharpness, and details, even in the periphery.

iCare EIDON FA also offers the added advantage of capturing a detailed ultra-high resolution FA video recording which provides a realistic and dynamic view of retinal vasculature and circulation mechanisms that may be missed with static flash photography.

Ultra-widefield details in high definition

iCare EIDON’s Ultra-widefield optics from 120° to 200° field of view allow imaging of the central retina as well as the periphery. iCare’s TrueColor confocal technology applied to ultra-widefield imaging is particularly crucial as it helps to improve the detection, analysis and monitoring of pathologies that could arise in the periphery of the retina. The iCare EIDON’s Ultra-widefield feature helps to preserve the sharpness and details even in the periphery, facilitating improved and early diagnosis.

A complete suite of fundus imaging capabilities

iCare EIDON FA is an extraordinary tool for obtaining multiple types of high value information from multiple imaging modalities. White LED illumination provides high-quality TrueColor images, Red-free filtering enhances visualization of retina vasculature, blue images provide improved view of the Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) and red channel allows light to penetrate into the deep layers of the retina. Infrared light provides detailed information corresponding to the choroid. Autofluorescence allows the assessment of the Retinal Pigment Epithelial (RPE) layer integrity. Fluorescein Angiography images and videos enable the clinician to observe and monitor retinal blood flow details.

iCare EIDON FA is an easy-to-use imaging system providing the flexibility to switch from fully automatic controls to manual operation for custom image capturing. iCare EIDON FA’s multi-touch tablet makes magnification and review effortless. iCare EIDON FA Remote Viewer (RV) enables reviewing from any network computer on the same local area network (LAN). It also provides additional analysis tools that are useful in the clinic.
