iCare COMPASS perimeter is used at our clinic for visual field tests for glaucoma patients and in context of clinical trials. The device’s ability to create a comprehensive visual field map based on active retinal tracking is instrumental in order to create a personalized treatment plan for patients and reliable visual field loss screening. Reduced exam time
The ZEST Fast is a new threshold strategy decreasing exam time. When compared to ZEST, this threshold is 30% faster in glaucoma patients and 40% in healthy patients.

The Smart Progression Analysis (SPA) shows structural and functional changes over time. Progression assessment, rate and prediction reliably evaluates disease stage in glaucoma management.

Compensation of eye movements
The active Retinal Tracker is at the heart of fundus automated perimetry. Compensation of eye movements reduces motion artifacts resulting in improved reliability and accuracy.

iCare COMPASS combines visual field testing with retinal imaging now also with the SmartMosaic function that captures three TrueColor images to a 100° horizontal montage.

New study published in Journal of Glaucoma
The new study published in Journal of Glaucoma shows that the exam time was reduced 31% in glaucoma patients and 38 % in patients without glaucoma. Reducing test time without compromising accuracy is of paramount importance for clinical practice, since a shorter test can increase patient comfort and, as many studies demonstrated, perimetric sensitivity and variability is affected by increased examination duration.
